What are Safe Stick Anitmicrobial Surface Covers?

Is there any maintenance once it is applied?

The safe stick is virtually maintenance free.  Since it protects 24/7, it will remain working with maximum efficiency for 60 days.  We do ask your maintenance staff to wipe down the stick if they see any grease, grime or objects on the stick.  This is the same practice you would normally use.

Will the Safe Stick hold up in the heat, cold, wind, and rain?

How does this technology work?

The invisible coating that is treated for each Safe Stick is a two-part molecule.  Once coated and treated, the safe stick cover acts like a “bed of nails”, positively charged, drawing the microbes in or when the flagstick is touched. Once the microbe lands on the cover, it punctures and destroys any microbe giving the flagstick a clean and protective surface.
